Spiritual maturity in Christ will result in a greater reliance upon God in our lives. The nature we are born with is to deny God and to seek to preserve and strengthen ourselves by ourselves. God desires to be our provider, our helper, our healer, our Lord and the one whom we come to when we have needs. The life that is revived is one of dependency not self - sufficiency. Man has always worked to become self-sufficient, but God is good and will provide all we need.
